Welcome, Family!
Congratulations!
Welcome, you have made it to this page because you have officially booked your session. This is a small guide to help prepare you and your family for your upcoming session. You’re booked now what? I am over joyed for this adventure of capturing you and your loved ones. My goal is to prepare you as much as possible to ensure our session goes as smooth as possible. If you have any questions, shoot an email and I’ll reply as soon as possible! I can’t wait to meet and capture your family. Please scroll and read all the information.

Location and time
If we haven't already gone over your session day and time, we'll discuss the location and time via email shortly.
If the session is at your home, we'll have the session Mid-Morning. This is when the house is usually the brightest.
Outdoor session I prefer to shoot 1-2 hours before sunset for the perfect glow.
Before the session, I will reach out to confirm the session day, time, and location.
Reminder: It's essential to arrive on time. As a natural light photographer, I depend on light and use it creatively.
LENGTH OF SESSION
I am definitely an over shooter and love my job. Which causes me to get lost in the moment. No worries, I’m dedicated to providing a great experience. Even though I tend to get caught in the moment, my sessions do not go over an hour.
WHAT TO WEAR
Please don’t go out and buy new shoes and outfits for the shoot. I know it’s always exciting to prepare for the session and tempting to buy new clothes. I want what you all wear to be comfortable and reflect who you are. I recommend coordinating with the family and try not to focus on matching! Here are a couple of blogs that will help with what to wear. What To wear to a session? and Style Guide.
YOUR CHILDREN
To get the most out of your session, I ask the children to be well-rested and go to the bathroom before arrival. This is crucial for on-location shoots. (park bathrooms are usually far away and aren’t always in the best condition) We will take a break if needed. It’s helpful to bring snacks (dry, non-messy) and water. Kids might get thirsty with this Texas heat. To help children with the session by give them a heads up and let them know a friend will be taking some pictures of them. Lastly, it is my goal to capture children in their natural state. It is best to give the children time to be comfortable and explore.
