Congratulations!

You’re booked now what? I am over joyed for this adventure of capturing your Young Adult. Portraits are import at all ages of life I am honored to create a creative headshot. My goal is to prepare you as much as possible to ensure our session goes as smooth as possible. If you have any questions, shoot an email and I’ll reply as soon as possible! I can’t wait to meet and with you all.

Location and time

If we haven't already gone over your session day and time, we'll discuss the location and time via email shortly. Here is a quick blog about location to give you a head start.

If the session is at your home, we'll have the session Mid-Morning. This is when the house is usually the brightest.

Outdoor session I prefer to shoot 2 hours before sunset for the perfect glow.

Before the session, I will reach out to confirm the session day, time, and location.

Reminder: It's essential to arrive on time. As a natural light photographer, I depend on light and use it creatively.

LENGTH OF SESSION 

I am definitely an over shooter and love my job. Which causes me to get lost in the moment. No worries, I’m dedicated to providing a great experience. Even though I tend to get caught in the moment, my sessions do not go over an hour.

WHAT TO WEAR 

Please don’t buy new shoes and outfits for the shoot. I know it’s always exciting to prepare for the session and tempting to buy new clothes. I want what you wear to be comfortable and reflect who you are. I recommend bringing your cap and gown if you would like in incorporate them into your session. I will not provide a cap and gown for your session.

Parents

Thank you for trusting me to photograph your child. Yes, they are almost adults, but we know they will always be our little ray of sunshine. So, on the day of the session, feel free to join and walk with us as we have the session. If there is anything, I can do to help comfort you, feel free to let me know. It is always my goal to make a smooth and comfortable experience.

Soon to be Adult

I can’t wait to create magic with you. You are perfectly and wonderfully made. You don’t need to worry about a thing when it comes to your session. I will guide and direct you in every pose. I want you to be comfortable 100 percent of the time if you are uncomfortable speak up and we will move on to the next pose. This session is about you so if you have ideas feel free to speak up and we will work together.
