Why I Changed My Process: All-Inclusive Photography in Amarillo, Texas
At the beginning of this month, I shared a blog post about my journey getting in front of the camera (you can read it here). I talked about how important it is for me to sit in the "client chair" so I can better serve you.
When I hired a photographer for my own family photos. The session itself was wonderful, and I loved the time spent with my family. But when the gallery arrived, and it was time to choose a limited number of images, I felt devastated. I know this is what I signed up for, but it still didn't take away from how I felt.
I looked at those photos and realized there were memories and moments I was going to have to leave behind. I couldn't believe I had ever left my clients feeling that way, knowing there were photos of their loved ones they wouldn't have. I never want you to look at a photo of your child and feel like you can't have it because of a limit.
What "All-Inclusive" Means to Me
From that day forward, I began changing my process. I wanted to offer an experience that felt complete. To me, all-inclusive means:
No hidden fees.
No separate session fees.
No upselling for digital images after the fact.
When I say all-inclusive, I mean that you will receive every intentional, hand-selected image from our time together. As your photographer, I take the time to curate your gallery, removing duplicates or shots where someone may have been blinking. This ensures the final collection you receive is a well-crafted, polished story about your family. You won't have to worry about missing a single meaningful moment. I include every image that meets my professional standards to ensure your gallery is complete.
Tailored Collections for Your Family
To make things simple and meaningful, I’ve settled on three main ways we can work together. While my top two collections are fully all-inclusive, I offer a third option for those needing something a bit more focused:
The Motherhood Collective (The Bundle): For moms who want to document the entire journey. By bundling your sessions, like maternity and newborn, you get a consistent, well-crafted story from start to finish.
The All-Inclusive Collection: My favorite way to serve you. You don't have to choose. You receive every curated digital image from our session, ensuring your family’s legacy is fully documented.
The Short Story: This is my only non-all-inclusive collection. It includes 25 images, which I specifically chose because they provide a beautiful synopsis of your story without making you feel like you’re missing the heart of the session.

My goal is to be an artist who makes your life easier. Whether we are in my studio near downtown Amarillo or in the comfort of your home, I want the focus to be on your connection, not a countdown of images.
I’ve moved away from the traditional sales model because I believe photography should be a relief, not another task on your to-do list. You deserve to have your memories delivered in a way that feels whole.
