Las Fiestas at Our lady of Guadalupe in Amarillo, Texas
The wait is finally over! I know many of you saw me running around with my camera during the two-day celebration, and quite a few of you asked how you could see and download the photos. I’m excited to finally share the full gallery with you.
As you may know, I had the honor of volunteering and sharing my photography skills at Our Lady of Guadalupe Church during the 44th Las Fiestas de Amarillo. It was such a joy to celebrate alongside all of you! This fiesta was bursting with color, energy, and community spirit, and I am so thankful I was able to capture it through my lens.
From the lively parade filled with music, candy, fun rides, and pure joy, to the church grounds coming alive with activities for all ages, there was something special for everyone. We enjoyed games and prizes for kids, free books, and, of course, delicious food prepared by amazing volunteers, including gorditas, burritos, fruit cups, and corn cups. Adding in the silent auction and live entertainment made the atmosphere truly unforgettable. Everywhere I looked, I saw families laughing, friends reconnecting, and our community celebrating culture, faith, and tradition together.
As a photographer, capturing these moments means so much more than just taking pictures. It’s about preserving the spirit of our community and honoring the traditions that bring us together year after year. Volunteering here was especially meaningful to me, as this is the church my mom attends, and it was a blessing to serve alongside so many of you.
The gallery is now live for everyone to enjoy! Feel free to browse, download your favorites, and share the link with family, friends, and fellow parishioners so we can continue reliving these memories together.
